Dr. Lindsey Wilson is the Director of the Office of Equity and Inclusion for the City of Austin. For more than 14 years, Dr. Wilson has been helping individuals and organizations understand their roles as champions of equity.

With the City of Austin, Dr. Wilson has led citywide efforts to expand equity principles across all city departments. Her work strives to create a community where each person can thrive.

Dr. Wilson visited Meals on Wheels Central Texas for a tour of our facilities. She toured our Central Kitchen where 3,000 meals are prepared for same-day delivery each weekday.

We proudly presented Dr. Wilson with a Certificate of Recognition as a new Community Champion. As a Champion, Dr. Wilson will use her platform to uplift our older adult neighbors and advocate for the services they depend on to remain independent.
